MS Photo Editor I'm a fan of the Microsoft photo editor that came with office, and I've been using it as my default image viewer for years. As for using another viewing program, seems that the program we use to view said pictures only likes the Office 2010 picture viewer, do not know why it was programmed that way. It seems that pictures within this program 'break' the viewer. Picture Manager was included in Office 2010 and earlier and allowed you to easily view, edit, and manage pictures. Microsoft has replaced Photo Editor with Microsoft Office Picture Manager, a new photo editing and cataloging program in Office 2007 and in Office 2003.
To work around this issue in Office 2007 and in Office 2003, reinstall Photo Editor.
